17. Institutions

There are lots of different platforms that advertise and display music videos. I will put my music video firstly on youtube.

Youtube is the biggest media platform for videos at this time and is free to post videos. Youtube is the best place for teens to find new music, I myself found Mary Lamberts music on youtube. Many teens will spend their free time on youtube looking for new music to listen too. Youtube is a good way to rate the popularity of new music. Depending on how many 'likes' can be a good estimate of a fame of a song.



Vimeo is another place to I could share my video via.



Vidmeo is a video sharing site similar to youtube, is it a site made for video makers by video makers.  It may be better for my music video as it has less cat videos and people hurting themselves. The people that use vidmeo are on the site specifically to watch quality music videos and such. It like youtube is also free although you can make a premium account for a small cost.

I love the use of colour in this video..In my video I would love to have some kind of stop motion and one colour scheme.

Music Video Inspirations

I would like to represent some teenage cliques in my music video then embrace the differences. These music videos all contain different types of people or stereotypes.
These music videos particularly use different dance styles. I think in my music video I would like to use some choreographed dance as well as some non choreographed pieces as I think this makes the video more relate-able because everyone likes to dance badly in they're bed room..

16.Target Audience

My ideal audience are the indie hispters of my generation, they are the innovators and game changers. My song is not hugely known, it has a mere 100,000 subscriptions and 6,241,581 views. The audience of this song are the kind of people who spend their time looking for new songs, drinking soya lattes, eating vegan brownies and watching vlogbrother videos. The song unlike other songs in the media limelight at the moment does not shame 'skinny' it instead promotes happiness and confidence to all.
I will attract my ideal audience by creating a video that convays this self confidence and overcoming the abuse that often is thrown at those who are different. My ideal audience love finding new songs, films and authors, this means I will not aim to sell it to a wide audience, rather a specific audience.
